About Us

Any Time. Any Place. Any Path. Education doesn’t have to look the same for all students. By providing virtual opportunities, we can customize learning methods, schedules, and environments to meet the educational needs of students and families looking for more flexibility.

Whether face-to-face or online, we are committed to providing exceptional opportunities for all students in and around Bay City. Working in partnership with families, we have designed 1st-12 virtual programs that provide rigorous academic preparation that is teacher mentored, parent directed, and customized to meet the needs of students of all ages and from all academic backgrounds.

Personalized.

We recognize that all students are different, so a one-size-fits-all approach to education may not be the best fit for your child. Through our virtual offerings, families can work with staff to create a learning environment that is right for the unique needs of each child.

Teacher Supported.

Our virtual program is staffed by highly-qualified and state-certified teachers committed to supporting students through online coursework. Whether connecting online or face-to-face, our teachers are committed to keeping students engaged in learning.

Family Directed.

Parents control the at-home learning environment and play a large role in their child’s education when learning online. Reinforcing the values of education alongside family values can empower students and ensure that impact is positive.

Tuition Free.

Like all of our schools, virtual learning is tuition free and full time for any student in grades 1 through 12 in or around the Bay City area. We provide the needed technology and resources so students can learn from home or anywhere there is an internet connection.

Social & Emotional.

A child’s education is about more than facts and figures. Our virtual program consists of several opportunities for students to connect with each other virtually or face-to-face through social events, extracurriculars, or field trips.

Drop In.

Grade-level Learning Centers where students can “drop in” for a lesson, receive help on an assignment, or just a place to work away from home are being planned across the district. Staffed by certified teachers, these centers serve as the hub of our virtual program.
